The GAPumps GVSS and GVS vertical spindle pump range is designed to be robust, abrasion resistant and reliable .
The GAPumps GVS is made in three sizes; 50 mm, 80
mm and 100 mm GVSS are made in two sizes: 100 mm and 150 mm.
Each model has its own unique duty; the combination of motor speeds and different impeller diameters gives a mid-point pumping range of m³/hr and total heads up to 70 m.
The pump does not have a mechanical seal or packing gland.
Consequently, it can run dry indefinitely.
The GAPumps GVSS and GVS does not have any external moving ensuring safe installations. The depth to which pumps can be immersed
is governed by the position of the bearing in the lower end of the column.
An easily replaceable polyurethane insert is fitted in the
pump casing over the maximum wear area. The impeller
adjustment is made without any use of spacers or shims.
The upper bearing is greased for life and does not need
any maintenance. The Unipump is manufactured in
South Africa and spare parts are readily available.
Heads to 30 m at 400 m3/h can be achieved at speeds
from 1450 rpm and head to 60 m at 100 m³/h can be
achieved at 3000 rpm.
