POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT PUMP

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT PUMP

Engineered Solutions for Every Application.

The positive displacement pump is made out of a helical rotor that revolves inside a helical stator.

The stainless-steel rotor is precisely machined, while the stator is made of a durable elastomer.

When the rotor turns inside the stator, it creates a double chain of watertight compartments along the pump’s axis.

This allows the product to be transported from the pump intake to the pump discharge with high sensitivity.

Positive displacement pumps are well-known for their capacity to handle viscous and abrasive fluids with high solid content, making them suited for many industries, such as oil and gas and wastewater treatment.

APPLICATION

• Sewage and sludge pumping

  Dirty wastewater

  Bilge water removal

  Viscous chemical pumping

 • Shear sensitive products

  Pulp, paper
paste and starch handling

  Biomass transfer

  Oil transfer

 • Fluid dosing applications

APPLICATION

Since many positive displacement
pumps are self-priming, they may draw fluid into the pump without the need for
human assistance by generating suction and expelling air. When the fluid source
is below the pump intake or the pump starts up often, this function is essential.
